When it comes to planting your garden in the spring, you likely won't find a better option at the market than Jenny's Greenhouse out of Zumbro Falls. Jenny and her team are known at our spring markets for their impressive racks of annuals, perennials, vegetables and hanging baskets.
We visited in late March, just as the grow houses were picking up speed for the upcoming season.
Why support a local nursery? In Jenny's words, "our plant are sold to you bigger and stronger than the box stores." They are also likely more suited to our climate and grow faster once planted.
You can visit Jenny's Greenhouse in Zumbro Falls from late April through mid-summer, find them at our downtown Saturday market in May and June, or stop by their satellite location at Apache Mall throughout the week.
